Nobody Enjoys Life As Much As the Devotees

Why punish yourself with an inferior grade of enjoyment, one that is mixed with many varieties of suffering? Why not take a superior enjoyment, the topmost enjoyment, which is pure unadulterated bliss? The fact is that those who have awakened the divine consciousness within their hearts have more fun than anyone else in this material world because they have perfectly dovetailed their consciousness with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna, the reservoir of unlimited pleasure. Thus they relish a rare grade of happiness which is not tinged with even the slightest trace of material misery. This is why nobody enjoys life like the devotees of the Lord.

Question: Were All the Souls Created at Once?

Honorable Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Kindly answer the following questions:

1) Were all souls formed at same time, or does Lord keep creating new ones?
2) If new souls keep getting added, then is there a soul age for each of them?
3) If all souls were formed only once, then how does the population keep increasing?
4)If soul has a age depending upon when it took a human body, is there a soul hierarchy in the upper realm?
5) Are there other plane of existence apart from our physical world?

Your servant,
Manmohan

Answer: Eternally an Infinite Number of Souls

The Lord is eternally manifesting an unlimited number of souls from Himself. There is no moment in time when the souls did not exist and the Lord brought them into being. They are eternally existing.

Since the souls are eternal their age is infinite. The population of the total existence is not increasing. The present increase of human population is due to more souls coming up from the animal kingdom to take birth as humans.

Besides this material world where life is temporary full of ignorance and misery, there is the spiritual world, where life is eternal, full of bliss, and full of knowledge. If you will seriously take to the path of Krishna bhakti, you can enter into that unlimitedly sweet transcendental abode.
