Chant Away All Disturbance of the Mind

No matter how much your mind may be disturbed by the happiness and distress of this world, if you will simply take complete shelter Lord Sri Krishna's inconceivably powerful, sweet, and beautiful holy names, all of your difficulties will melt away into pure love of Godhead. The entire world is suffering due to lacking knowledge of this. Therefore as an act of compassion the Vaisnava accepts it as his sacred duty to awaken them.

You mentioned about the 64 qualities of the almighty Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of all Godhead, in your Saturday, 6th October Thought for the Day. What number of qualities does Lord Rama, Brahma, Shiva and Indra have? (They must be lower in number than Lord Krishna's. Hare Krishna.)

Answer: 94 Percent, 84 Percent, and 78 Percent

You are indeed correct. Because they are not the Supreme or the original form the Supreme they possess less of His qualities. Srila Prabhupada explains that the Lord’s visnu-tattva expansions (this includes Lord Rama) possess 94% of the qualities of Krishna, that Shiva possessed 84%, and that Lord Brahma and the other jivas possess up to 78% of the qualities of Krishna. This last category includes Indra.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead.
