Ten Kilometers Per Email Across Bulgaria
22 May 2012--After a successful public hall program last night in Burgas, Bulgaria, today we drove 440 kilometers across Bulgaria from my disciples' farm and temple in Aheloy on the Black Sea to Sofia on the other end of the country. Seeing as how I am seriously backlogged on my emails I took it as a grand opportunity to try to reduce the backlog as much as possible. After arriving in Sofia, where we just missed an earthquake, I checked the numbers, and it was 44 emails and 440 kilometers. That is an average of one email for every 10 kilometers travelled. I am still behind but hoping to catch up as soon as possible. We've got to help as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, to become solidly fixed in Krishna consciousness for becoming free from all the anxieties of material existence. This is our mission.

Please accept my humble obeisances at Your Lotus Feet.
All glories unto you and Srila Prabhupada.
I have a small doubt regarding worshipping and offering rich foods to Lord Krishna. Just a few minutes ago, a friend of mine had posted a picture on Facebook with two parts: on one side the Lord is being offered rich food in the temple, and on the other side some African children are suffering without food, and the banner said "Who's more important? Decide. Don't let children starve" and some material social service stuff like "service to God is through service to mankind".
Though I understand that serving Krishna opulently is the very crux of our lives, how do we understand this better? How do we neatly present before the so-called society that maintaining our deities opulently and offering all riches to Them is more on the priority list than serving hungry children? Also, how much priority should we give to serving social organizations in this regard? Sometimes it is hard to say "no" when people approach for rendering help in social service, mainly because of the fact that the material mind laments seeing other people suffer.
Thank you very much for taking time to read this, Gurudeva. Kindly let me know how I can serve you always.
Your servant,
Divyapriya

Answer: Feed the Entire World Krishna Prasadam
What your friend does not realize is that the very reason there is so much suffering on this planet is that we have turned our backs on God. Because we have neglected God nature is withholding her bounty and we are being pinched by so many shortages such as food shortage and water shortage. If we will offer everything to God, there will be no more shortages in the world. So let all the food of the world be offered to God and then distributed profusely. Everyone will be well fed and jolly, even the animals. When our Krishna consciousness movement is successful everyone all over the world will easily get all of their necessities of life. There will be no more poverty in any country because everyone will appreciate and respect that person who is supplying all of the food.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
