Peace in the Office

On 29 May 2012 I was the guest speaker at the Enterprise Mauritius agency of the Mauritian government. This is the agency responsible for encouraging other countries to import goods from Mauritius and thus stimulate the Mauritian economy. I spoke for one hour to the entire staff of Enterprise Mauritius with the exception of those who were out travelling. I was asked to speak on the topic "Peace in the Office," and I explained to them Krishna's formula for peace as given in the Bhagavad-gita 5.29:

bhoktāraṁ yajña-tapasāṁ
sarva-loka-maheśvaram
suhṛdaṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ
jñātvā māṁ śāntim ṛcchati

"A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attain peace from the pangs of material miseries.

My presentation was very much appreciated. They asked many nice questions. Krishna consciousness is very practical. It can solve all the problems of the world and make everyone happy in every sphere of activity.

Fearlessness comes automatically when you put your complete faith and trust in Krishna that because He is the supreme controller and your best friend He will always arrange everything for you at every moment in a way that will without fail be for your ultimate benefit.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
