Simple for the Simple, Hard for the Crooked

We face many problems in life of all sizes, shapes, and colors. Due to the disrupting influence of modes of passion and ignorance we try to solve these problems in so many varieties of unnecessarily complicated ways. Our so-called solutions do not solve the problems at all. Rather they only increase the problems. Those who are intelligent always look for the simplest possible solution for the problems of life. That simple solution is to understand that all of our problems stem from our rebelliousness against God. If we will simply give up our nonsense so-called independence and surrender fully to the will of the Lord, all of our problems will immediately be solved. But as Srila Prabhupada so aptly pointed out in Boston in 1969 regarding this process of surrendering to the Lord:

"It is simple for the simple, but very hard for the crooked. "

So, we have to stop being crooked and become the simple, humble servants of the Lord. This will end all of our suffering for all of eternity.

Question: Why are There So Many Universes?

I was watching a lecture video by Tamal Krishna Goswami in which he said that with each exhalation of Mahavishnu there comes out millions of universes. Why are there so many universes, and where did all these residents of these universes come from? Did they fall from the spiritual sky?

Answer: To Facilitate a Multitude of Fallen Souls

Because there are so many unlimited billions and trillions of living entities who have left the spiritual world to try to enjoy independently from the Lord here in this material world, there must be sufficient universes and planets to accommodate them all. Therefore when Mahavishnu exhales He manifests so many millions and billions of universes so that there will sufficient places of residence for all of the fallen jiva souls. .

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
