Become Powerful by Becoming Humble

In material life it is thought that the more you become proud, the more you become powerful. But actually, just the opposite is true. The reality is that the more you become humble, the more you become powerful. The reason this is true is that a proud person has no control over his senses, while a humble devotee of the Lord has fully conquered over his senses by engaging them 24 hours daily in the service of the Lord. This means that the proud person is not actually strong at all. He is simply burning off the reactions to his previous pious activities. Once these assets are exhausted he will be reduced to a very weak and powerless position. His strength is temporary and will be finished in due course of time. But the strength of the devotee is never destroyed. His strength is his total dependence on Krishna in all times, places, and circumstances. The more he advances in his dependence upon the Lord, the more His strength increases as more and more of the Lord's strength is manifested through him. In this way the devotee becomes stronger and stronger without any limitations of time, place, and circumstance.

Answer: Faithfully Stick to Path of Krishna Bhakti

The more you serve Krishna, Guru, and Vaisnavas with love, the more you will realize that Krishna is a person who is there with you at every minute guiding you and blessing you. Gradually you will feel that He is always present, and eventually you will see Him and engage directly in loving reciprocation with Him. Although this highly advanced stage of Krishna consciousness is not to be imitated, it is nonetheless factual and will be attained by you in due course of time if you will faithfully stick to this path of Krishna consciousness without deviation.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
