Stuck at Night on the Side of the Road

6 January 2011--After an evening preaching engagement in Hamilton, New Zealand on a two hour drive back to Auckland our van broke down in the middle of nowhere and we were stuck for over an hour in the pitch black before devotees from Hamilton arrived to drive us on to Auckland. Since our van was dangerously situated on the edge of the dark highway, we relocated ourselves on the top of a small hill overlooking the highway. Being very backlogged on answering my emails I did not want to waste any time. So I took out my laptop computer for answering the questions from my devoted and sometime challenging readers from all over the world. For those of who are awaiting answers to your questions, please be patient, because I am currently about two weeks behind on my correspondence.

Please give me one scientific proof that this whole universe is created by Krishna. Please enlighten me.

Answer: See How He is Breathing

We have our proof that the sunshine is emanating from the sun because we can see it every morning lighting up the eastern sky. Similarly we have our proof the Krishna is the creator of the universe because we see that it is emanating from His breathing.

Just as an owl cannot see the sun because of his closed eyes and thus remains in the dark regarding the truth of the sunrise, similarly the materialist cannot see Krishna and remains in the dark about His being the source of all existence.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
