Answers According to the Vedic Version:

Question:How to Make Guru's Order One's Life and Soul?

Everything I seem to hear or read about these days seem to focus on absolute dedication to the order of the spiritual master and performing devotional service according to his instruction and for his pleasure. The essence of spiritual life.

Although I have so much to be grateful for still to have such single minded focus and heart felt dedication eludes me. What is required to make the instructions of the spiritual master ones life and soul?

Thank you

Answer: Do Whatever He Says

Dedication to guru's order is not theoretical. It is practical. So the answer to your question is very simple: Do whatever he says.
