Perplexed but not Discouraged

A devotee of the Lord sometimes faces very perplexing situations. But because he has complete faith in Lord Krishna he is never discouraged even in the most devastating of circumstances. Once upon a time in the early days of the universe while Lord Brahma was engaged in the process of creation, the earth was inundated by a deluge and fell down into the depths of the Garbhodaka ocean in the bottom of the universe. Even though Lord Brahma was perplexed wondering what could he do to deal with this situation, instead of becoming discouraged he reasoned that the best thing to do under the circumstances was to let Krishna direct him what to do. And when he was thinking like this Varahadeva, the boar incarnation of God, appeared and rescued the earth from it precarious condition. So whenever are bewildered by reverse conditions we should take it as a grand opportunity to take shelter of the Lord. By doing so we will soon be free from anxiety and will be able cross successfully over the ocean of difficulty.

Answers According to the Vedic Version:

Question: Leader of ISKCON?

Are you now the spiritual leader of ISKCON ?

Ray

Answer: One of ISKCON's Leaders

While I am not THE spiritual leader of ISKCON, I am ONE of the spiritual leaders of ISKCON. Srila Prabhupada instructed all of his followers to become spiritual masters for leading the world out of its present chaotic godless condition into a new era of enlightened God consciousness for the perfect peace and harmony of the entire human society. Even though I have disciples all over the world who are very inspired by my presentation of the science of Krishna consciousness, I take no credit for this. Rather I give all credit to my spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who has so mercifully saved me from the clutches of illusion and misery to engage me in the topmost activity of living for the deliverance of all the suffering souls of this world back to home, back to Godhead.
