Question: Can You Request Krishna to Appear?

I would like to ask whether you have seen and met Sri Krishna in person after having spent almost 40 years chanting the Hare Krishna mahamantra. Have you personally talked to Him? Have you seen Him? If yes, can you describe the encounter to us and what allowed the meeting to occur? Was it the pure utterance of the Hare Krishna mantra? If you have a personal connection with Krishna that allows you to get the answers to the questions we ask you, can you also request Him to appear before the general public?

Why is interaction with the higher spiritual beings impossible?

Answer: Krishna is Already Present

Just as the sun is visible for all to see, Krishna is already present and available for everyone to see. The difficulty is that people are just like owls. Even though God is revealing Himself in so many ways, they are keeping their eyes tightly closed shut and refusing to see God.

Therefore we pray to the spiritual master,

oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya
jñānāñjana-śalākayā
cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena
tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ

"I offer my respectful obeisances unto my spiritual master,
who with the torchlight of knowledge has opened my eyes,
which were tightly closed shut in the darkness of ignorance." --from the Gautamiya Tantra

The spiritual master gives the disciple jnana-caksusa, the eyes of knowledge by which he can see God. Personally I have no qualification to see God, but by the mercy of my spiritual master I can see God everywhere and associate with Him at every minute. If you want to understand how I am seeing God, you should do exactly what I have done. You should fully surrender yourself to the bona fide spiritual master. Then you will also be able to see God everywhere. Without surrender, by mere intellectual gymnastics it will never be possible for you to see God.

Interaction with higher spiritual beings is not impossible. Simply you must qualify yourself by becoming pure. If even meeting a big leader in this world requires so much qualification, just try to understand how much qualification is required to interact with higher spiritual beings.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
