It's a Billion Times Better

The factual identity of every living being is that he is the eternal servant of God. Therefore if he is going to experience true and lasting happiness, he must revive his original loving-service relationship with the Supreme Person. No amount of material sense gratification has ever made anybody truly happy. So why should we invest any of our energy unnecessarily in the material energy? Such a course of action would not be very progressive. While accepting only as much material sense gratification as is necessary for keeping our bodies fit we should spend the balance of our energy for self-realization because it's a billion times better to know who you are and be you who are than it is to serve the temporary senses.

Answers According to the Vedic Version:

Question: Contacting a Spiritual Being

In what way do you contact a spiritual being? Can you see or hear him in person, dreams, or by meditation? Who is this spiritual being? What is his name? What do you call a spiritual being? Is it an angel, a demigod, or a man who has transcended?

I thank you in advance for your answer,

Evelyn

Answer: By Living According to His Instructions

Spiritual being does not mean that he must necessarily be disembodied. Anyone who has fully revived his dormant Krishna consciousness or God consciousness is understood to a fully awakened spiritual being.

I have met such a completely enlightened spiritual being. This person is His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, my spiritual master. I am always studying his teachings and living my life according to his instructions. In this way even though he has physically departed from this mortal world in 1977, I am always feeling how he is always
present with me and ever so mercifully blessing me with transcendental realization and engagement in the service of Krishna.
