Answers According to the Vedic Version:

Question: What is Your Religious Belief?

Dear teacher:

I offer my respectful obeisances unto you.

If someone ask you: "What is your religious belief?" or "Which god do you believe", how do you answer him in a most conclusive and simple way? Such question is difficult to answer because it is not a matter of "belief" or "which", it is about Absolute Truth. It seems like that a blind man asks a normal man: "Do you believe in the existence of sunshine?" Such question is foolish, but how to give a answer? If you answer: "I believe in Vaishnavism", then it seems like it's some sectarian religion. Not good.

Your most humble servant,

Yechen Zhang,

Answer: None, I am a Knower of the Absolute Truth

If someone asks, "What is your religious belief?, you can tell that you do not have any religious belief. You can explain them that you are a knower of the Absolute Truth. If they ask you what is the Absolute Truth, you can explain to them that the Absolute Truth is that from which everything emanates.

If they ask you which god you believe in, you can tell them that there is no question of this god or that god. Just as there is only sun in the sky, similarly God is one. Just as the one sun is called by different names according to different languages, God is referred to by different names in different languages.

You can tell them that God gave us one religion, to surrender fully unto Him in pure love. It is man in his foolish imperfection who has concocted this idea of different religions.
