Speaking Out Boldly Against the Madness
In this world where 99.99% of the people are under the spell of illusion it is the duty of the realized souls to speak out boldly against the madness of material existence. If the enlightened souls do not do anything to save the fallen population, these unfortunate souls will surely glide down into the animal kingdom in their next lifetimes.
Actual love and compassion means to save these poor misguided souls from losing the human form and becoming degraded to the animal species. The difficulty is that in their madness they do not realize what is the love and compassion of the great saints. In this foolish condition they persecute and even sometimes torture and kill those who are selflessly trying to save them. Therefore there is no one more dear to the Lord than those who risk everything to try to spread His glories all over the world. There will never be anyone more dear to the Supreme Person.

In the Bhagavad-gita Krishna explains the benefits of taking prasadam:
yajna-sistasinah santo
mucyante sarva-kilbisaih
bhunjate te tv agham papa
ye pacanty atma-karanat
"The devotees of the Lord are released from all kinds of sins because they eat food which is offered first for sacrifice. Others, who prepare food for personal sense enjoyment, verily eat only sin." Bhagavad-gita 3.13
If we eat foods other than prasadam, even purely vegetarian foods, we are eating only sin. Such eating will oblige us to take birth after birth in this material world and should therefore be strictly avoided. Anyone who is serious about the escaping the cycle of birth and death should become a strict Krishnaterian by only eating Krishna prasadam.
Such a diet is very tasty, very nutritious, and quite affordable also.

Question: Why Take Prasad?...
What are the benefits one gets when one takes prasad and why should one take only prasad?Navin
Answer: For Release from All Kinds of Sins...
The remnants of foodstuffs that have been offered to Lord Sri Krishna are known as prasadam or prasad. The Sanksrit word "prasadam" literally means "mercy." When we offer the proper foods to Lord Sri Krishna with love and devotion He accepts them and by His mercy transforms them from matter into spirit. Such foods are indeed the Lord's mercy and are therefore called prasad or prasadam. In the Bhagavad-gita Krishna explains the benefits of taking prasadam:
