Now That You've Got a Human Form What's Your Choice?

After transmigrating through the 8,400,000 species of life you have now arrived in the human form of life. So now it's your choice whether you want to continue progressing by accepting Lord Krishna as your master and thus qualifying yourself to go back to Home, back to Godhead or whether you would prefer to embrace material sense gratification as your life's goal and thus regress to the animal kingdom. Question: How to Overcome Lusty Desires?

Please accept my humble obeisances.

Prabhuji, I have been trying to practice Krishna consciousness for the last 2 years. Recently I was an audience member of your Srila Prabhupada Smaranotsav series. Prabhuji, I am facing a tough issue with my lusty desire and decided to have some personal instructions from you. I am avoiding association with females, but due to old karma and habit, from the last few months I am badly hit by lusty desire.

Please instruct me on the matter for now and for future situations also.

Memorize this mantra by Yāmunācārya
and chant it whenever you feel lusty:

yad-avadhi mama cetaḥ kṛṣṇa-pādāravinde
nava-nava-rasa-dhāmany udyataṁ rantum āsīt
tad-avadhi bata nārī-saṅgame smaryamāne
bhavati mukha-vikāraḥ suṣṭhu niṣṭhīvanaṁ ca

"Since I have been engaged in the transcendental loving service of Kṛṣṇa, realizing ever-new pleasure in Him, whenever I think of sex pleasure, I spit at the thought, and my lips curl with distaste."

Yāmunācārya had formerly been a great king who enjoyed sexual happiness in various ways, but since he later engaged himself in the service of the Lord, he enjoyed spiritual bliss and hated to think of sex life. If sexual thoughts came to him, he would spit with disgust.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
