How to Become Empowered by Lord Caitanya

My glorious Godbrother, His Holiness Tamal Krishna Goswami, has written very nicely in his book "Servant of the Servant" as follows:

"There are many instructions received from the spiritual master, but of all of them the most essential is the order to preach. Anyone who takes this order very seriously will be empowered by Lord Caitanya and the disciplic succession to accomplish wonderful activiites, far beyond his capacity. Though we may be limited, Krishna is unlimited. Therefore if we become connected to the Unlimited by the mercy of the spiritual master, there is no limit to what we may do in the service of the Lord."

Let us all take full advantage of these wonderful words of Tamal Krishna Goswami by fully dedicating our lives for preaching the message of Krishna to the fallen, suffering souls of this age of Kali. By so doing our lives will become unlimitedly glorious. And our going back to Home, back to Godhead will be guaranteed.

Question: How to Deal With Mental Breakdown?

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I am facing mental breakdown, anxiety, panic. I don’t know what it is and I don’t know how to overcome it. I understand that everything is in my mind but I cannot control it. It controls me. It is very painful and I don’t know how to deal with it.

Please, kindly help me.

As devotees we take extreme distress as the special blessings of Krishna to help us realize that we have no shelter other than Him. Extreme distress is such a blessed that Queen Kunti was praying that she could always be in extreme distress:

vipadaḥ santu tāḥ śaśvat
tatra tatra jagad-guro
bhavato darśanaṁ yat syād
apunar bhava-darśanam

"I wish that all those calamities would happen again and again so that we could see You again and again, for seeing You means that we will no longer see repeated births and deaths."-- SB 1.8.25

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
