The One Switch that Will Brighten the Whole World

Srila Prabhupada very wonderfully explains as his follows in his preface to the Nectar of Devotion:

"The Nectar of Devotion will teach us how to turn the one switch that will immediately brighten everything, everywhere. One who does not know this method is missing the point of life."

So let's not keep ourselves in darkness and the whole world in darkness. Let us now purely chant the holy names of God and in this way flip the switch that will brighten the whole world.

Thank you for pointing this out.

From the viewpoint of mathematics infinity is not a number. It is a concept. Therefore technically we cannot put infinity into a mathematical calculation.

Mathematically as the number by which we divide the number one becomes larger and larger the resulting number becomes smaller and smaller.

However the situation of falling down from the spiritual world is not subject to the mundane laws of mathematics. In this case there are spiritual principles at work.

We learn from the Brahma Samhita (5.32) that there are infinite material universes. Therefore there must be an infinite number of souls who have fallen from the spiritual world to inhabit these infinite universes.

What are the odds of an eternally liberated soul who is enjoying a life of bliss and knowledge in the spiritual world deciding to try to enjoy separately from Krishna here in this material world? A very, very, very small number.

But since there are infinite devotees in the spiritual world that small percentage ends up being an unlimited number of souls who fell into this material existence.

This is the point I was trying to make.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
