Question: When Seeing Others are Suffering?

Please accept my humble obeisances!

Gurudeva, as Krishna gives us a message to love and care about all human beings, I have been following it by my heart. But by doing so, I have been feeling pain and suffering along with them too, and I tend to make it easy for them. I pray to Krishna to give me all their pain and suffering as It hurts me a lot to see them in pain, to feel it. I can see their pure souls and hearts. I don't want them to suffer from this pain, as sometimes it happens to be caused by themselves. Also, I tend to think about it a lot later on and I think it's leading to depression. Please give me the strength to survive through this and enlighten me on the way to handle this.

To be depressed over the suffering of others is the highest form of spiritual ecstasy. Therefore the Vaisnava is described as para-duḥkha-duḥkhī, one who he is unhappy because of the unhappiness of others.

Be strong by chanting at least 16 rounds of Hare Krishna japa mala every day and strictly following the four regulative principles (no illicit sex, no meat eating, no intoxication, and no gambling.). This will make you happy in your spiritual life.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
