Praying that the Whole World

There is no one more merciful that the devotee of the Lord because the devotee is willing to accept all sufferings upon himself, even taking birth after birth here in this miserable material world, for the sake of enlightening the fallen, conditioned souls who are trapped here in the cycle of repeated birth, death, old age, and disease how to regain their original eternally liberated identities in the all-blissful spiritual world. The great devotee Prahlada Maharaja is the most shining example of this all-merciful mood of Krishna's devotee. Prahlada Maharaja most mercifully prays in Srimad Bhagavatam, Fifth Canto, Chapter 18, Verse 9 that may the whole world now become Krishna conscious. Here is his prayer in Sanskrit with the English translation:

svasty astu viśvasya khalaḥ prasīdatāṁ
dhyāyantu bhūtāni śivaṁ mitho dhiyā
manaś ca bhadraṁ bhajatād adhokṣaje
āveśyatāṁ no matir apy ahaitukī

"May there be good fortune throughout the universe, and may all envious persons be pacified. May all living entities become calm by practicing bhakti-yoga, for by accepting devotional service they will think of each other's welfare. Therefore let us all engage in the service of the supreme transcendence, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and always remain absorbed in thought of Him."

Answers According to the Vedic Wisdom

Question: Bypass Karma?

Can you bypass karma?

Subin Anthony John and Busari Arundhati

Answer: Only By Full Surrender to God

From: Toronto, Canada

My Dear Subin and Busari.
Please accept my blessings.
God Himself, Lord Sri Krishna, directly states in the Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 18, Verse 66 that if we fully surrender to Him He will free us from all of our karma. Outside of full surrender unto God there is no means of becoming free from the karma of our previous pious and impious activities.

Hoping this meets you well.

Your ever well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari
