What is the soul, according to you?
Ushosee Das
Answer: 1/10,000th the Tip of a Hair
From: ISKCON Austin, Texas USA
My Dear Ushosee,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
It is not a matter of according to me. Who am I? What do I know? Practically nothing. But according to the great Vedic authorities the soul is a small subatomic particle the size of 1/ 10,000th the tip of a hair. Even though so small, by the soul's presence within one's material body the body becomes fully alive and energized. At the time of death when the soul leaves the body the body becomes a useless bag of chemicals.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.
Your ever well-wisher,
