Removing Our Mental Block

On the path of self-realization our mind is the biggest obstacle to achieving spiritual perfection because we think we know everything. But if we can become a little humble admitting our limitations and frailties and hear submissively from the bona fide spiritual master, then we will coquer over this mental block, known as the false ego, and become in due course of time bully awakened in pure love of God.

Question: Moon Landings?

I have a question regarding moon landings. It is written in our spiritual books that no human can go to any other celestial body. But here we have had manned missions to moon successfully. So does this fact means that the information in our books is incorrect and/or does it not invalidate the books entirely as those books are claimed to be written with godly wisdom and knowledge ? Please guide me.

Answer: They Never Entered the Moon Civilization

Even if they went to the moon they were not able with their gross material senses to perceive or enter into the celestial kingdom which is present there. It is like landing in a country without being able to clear customs and then being sent back to where you have came from. The moon is a heavenly planet, much more opulent and beautiful than the earth planet. That they only found some dust and rocks proves that they were not able enter into the moon civilization.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
