Initiation: The Greatest Good Fortune

After millions and billions of lifetimes of suffering within the cycle of birth and death, one's greatest good fortune is to receive the seed of pure Krishna bhakti planted within his heart through the process known as initiation. At the time of initiation the disciple vows to accept his spiritual master's instructions as his very life and soul and thus faithfully serve his guru's orders for all of eternity. This total dedication to his spiritual master qualifies him to regain his original deathless identity in the transcendental pastimes of the Lord in the spiritual sky. Srila Prabhupada explains that his deathlessness begins from the very day that he accepts initiation from the bona fide spiritual master, provided that he strictly follows the orders that he has received from his spiritual master.

Question: How Is Krishna Outside of Everything?

Queen Kunti is telling Lord Krishna that He is existing both within and without everything (Srimad Bhagavatam 1.8.18). I understand that Krishna is within everything as a Paramatma. Can you kindly explain how is Lord Krishna outside everything?

Answer: By His Unlimited Pastimes in the Spiritual Sky

Even though Krishna is within everything here in this material world, He is also simultaneously situated completely outside this material world in His transcendental abode where He is engaged eternally in unlimited, nectarean pastimes with His pure devotees.
