Three Essentials for Spiritual Advancement

The three most important things that one must do to properly elevate himself to the platform of Krishna consciousness are to take shelter of the bona fide spiritual master, take initiation from him, and serve him with respect and reverence. If one neglects these principles, it is not possible for him to advance on the pathway of Krishna consciousness and to qualify himself for going back to home, back to Godhead.

Answer: It Takes Time for the Impurities to Go Away

It takes time for the impurities to go away from our hearts. Whatever unhappiness a devotee experiences in his neophyte stage is due to his impurities, not the external situation in which he finds himself. So now you should focus on removing the impurities from your heart by carefully chanting the holy names of the Lord every day without fail. This will gradually bring about the complete transformation of your consciousness from your present state of anxiety into the realm of pure unadulterated bliss.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
