Nothing More Wonderful than the Devotee's Kindness

The unlimited mercy of Krishna is most powerfully manifested through the sweet loving kindness of Krishna's devotees. Krishna in the form of the Supersoul, the lord in everyone's heart, plays a neutral role of fulfilling the desires of the living beings, no matter whether those desires are material or spiritual. But Krishna's devotee is considered to be more merciful than Krishna because he has only one purpose and that is to pull the conditioned souls out of the sufferings of material existence by convincing them to fully surrender themselves at the lotus feed of Lord Sri Krishna.

Question: Why Did God Create a World of Misery?

Hare Krishna, Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

My question is:
Why did God create this world as a place of misery (dukhhalayam asasvatam)? Since God is omnipotent He could have created this place perfect in and of itself for us to live.
Please remove my ignorance.

Your servant,
Sushant K.

Answer: We Created the Misery

Krishna did not create the misery. It is we who created the misery. The ocean is bliss for a fish and misery for a land being. A devotee is blissful everywhere because of His love for Krishna. Those who don't love Krishna will be miserable wherever they are. They are creating their own misery. It is not that Krishna is creating their misery. They are creating their own misery because they don't love Krishna.
