Relishing the Sweet Mellows of Sri Vrindavan Dhama
Today we are leaving Vrindavan Dhama, the unlimitedly sweet transcendental abode of Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Narottama Das Thakur, the great Vaisnava acarya, has instructed us that we should always worship this most amazing place. So whether we are here in Vrindavan or we are outside of Vrindavan, we must always keep this holiest of all abodes solidly situated in the cores of our hearts. In this way we will always be living in Vrindavan experiencing the sweetest happiness of constant association with Lord Sri Krishna, the Lord of unlimited varieties of transcendental pastimes.

Question: What is the Meaning of Steadiness?
My dear Gurudeva,
In Bhagavad-gita 2.56 it is said that one should be undisturbed by happiness and distress. But what does it actually mean? For example:
1) If I pass my CA exams then everyone will congratulate me. Should I become like a dead stone and not reciprocate with them? This is a state of happiness.
2) If I get sick, then should I go to a doctor? This is a state of distress.
2) If I get sick, then should I go to a doctor? This is a state of distress.
Please advise me on applying the concept of steadiness amidst happiness and distress,
Vrutant S.
Answer: See Everything in Relationship With Krishna
Accept their congratulations gratefully, and give the credit to Krishna because He is the source of remembrance by whose grace you did well on your exams. In this way you not be carried away by illusory false ego happiness thinking that you are great.
And if you get sick, you should not be morose. You should see that by your sickness you are burning off the reactions from your previous sinful activities. And at the same time you should go to a doctor if necessary in order that you can get well as soon as possible so that your service to Krishna will not be interrupted.
