Back on the Spiritual Revolution Trail

25 April 2014--After a tremendous spiritual battery recharge in the holy land of Vrindavan, we are back out on the world deliverance path on the order of our spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada could not tolerate seeing the entire human civilization being dragged down to the level of hogs and dogs. Therefore he ordered us to save them by spreading this Krishna consciousness movement to every town and village on this entire planet. It is undoubtedly a herculean and seemingly impossible task. But by Krishna's grace even the impossible becomes possible. Therefore we undauntedly carry on with our missionary activities for making a spiritual revolution on this planet knowing that win or lose, our dedicated endeavor will give great pleasure to Srila Prabhupada and Lord Sri Krishna and thus attract their unlimited blessings upon us for our spiritual advancement of becoming fully qualified to go back home, back to Godhead.

Answer: We Suffer Due to the Ignorance of Bodily Identification

We suffer due to the ignorance of bodily identification. The spirit-soul originally comes from a plane which is free from suffering. But when he misidentifies himself with a material body he enters a plane where there is suffering at every minute. This is why you need to revive your dormant Krishna consciousness. This will bring you back to your original identity on the spiritual plane where there is no suffering.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
