Turning Hate into Love

Lord Krishna states in Bhagavad-gita 7.27 that all living entities are born into delusion, bewildered by dualities arisen from desire and hate. Therefore to come out delusion we must come out of these tendencies of desire and hate. Instead of desiring for own sense gratification we should always desire to please Krishna. This is the purification of desire. And instead of being hateful we must learn how to love God and His devotees. It is by this awakening of love of God that we will regain our constitutional position, which is eternal, full of knowledge, and full of unlimited bliss and completely free from all material desires.

Questions: Can We Eat Canteen Food?

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

It is said that one should not accept any kind of foodstuffs save and except Krishna prasadam (vegetarian food offered with love and devotion to Lord Krishna). But what if prasadam is not available easily? People go to their offices everyday and take their meal at the canteen, as prasadam may not be available locally. Is it okay to eat other foodstuffs in such situations to satisfy one's hunger?

Answer: Bring Your Own Prasadam

It is better to bring your prasadam from home. Many people throughout the world throughout the world carry their lunch to school or work from home. My wife and I are regularly flying all over the world, but we do not eat the airplane food. We eat prasadam cooked by devotees that we bring onto the plane with us.
