Bring the Senses Under Control
Sense gratification and self realization go ill together. We cannot become self-realized as long as we over-indulgence in material sense gratification. Therefore if we want to become truly happy by tasting the genuine bliss of Krishna consciousness, we must bring our senses under control by only giving them what is necessary for a healthy life and nothing beyond that. In this way the senses can nicely be engaged 24 hours a day in Krishna's service, and we will quickly advance along the pathway of pure devotional service to attain the supreme perfection of pure love of God.

Question: How to Respect Junior Vaisnavas?

Answer: Compassionately Guide Them
Because a Vaisnava sees everyone as being part and parcel (an inseparable part) of Krishna, and because he sees that Krishna is present within the heart of every living being, he is therefore respectful to all living beings, even the little ant or a tiny plant. Therefore junior Vaisnavas are very much respected. Srila Prabhupada explains that they should be given the respectful title “Bhakta” if they are male or “Bhaktin” if they are female. We should show our love and respect for them by compassionately guiding them how to become fixed up in Krishna consciousness.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
