Become Guru and Deliver the Whole World
On 17 December 1973 in Los Angeles Srila Prabhupada gave this order to his disciples, "Become guru and deliver the whole world." Considering the current increasingly degraded world situation, this seems to be an impossible to fulfill order. But yet we hear in the Bhagavad-gita that wherever Krishna and Arjuna are present there will certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. Therefore if we can be pure enough in our Krishna consciousness to solidly connect with Krishna at every moment, we will be experience amazing victories in our humble attempt to make the entire world Krishna consciousness.

Why is nonviolence not included as one of the pillars of pious activities, like Lord Buddha's first teaching of nonviolence and the Biblical teaching, "Thou shall not kill."?
Sujata
"Nonviolence is generally taken to mean not killing or destroying the body, but actually nonviolence means not to put others into distress. People in general are trapped by ignorance in the material concept of life, and they perpetually suffer material pains. So unless one elevates people to spiritual knowledge, one is practicing violence. One should try his best to distribute real knowledge to the people, so that they may become enlightened and leave this material entanglement. That is nonviolence."
So nonviolence goes far beyond simply committing violence to the body. The greatest violence one can commit is violence to the soul by keeping a person in ignorance of his spiritual identity as the eternal spirit-soul servant of Krishna. This is the worst form of violence, and this is now going on everywhere all over the world. Therefore it is the mission of the Krishna consciousness to put a stop this violence.

Answer: Ignorance of the Soul is the Worst Violence
Krishna does teach the principle of nonviolence. You need to study the Bhagavad-gita more carefully. You will find nonviolence taught as a principle in Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 13, Text 8. In his purport to this verse Srila Prabhupada explains as follows the true meaning of nonviolence:"Nonviolence is generally taken to mean not killing or destroying the body, but actually nonviolence means not to put others into distress.
