Existence is In Itself Fully Blissful

Existence is by itself fully exciting, intriguing, and wonderful. Therefore all you have to do to be unlimitedly happy is to be your natural self. There is no need for anything extraneous. This means that anybody who is miserable is simply out of touch with his actual self. He is living in illusion, in unreality. If being happy is simply a matter of being natural, why is there so much misery in the world? The reason is that the modern day society is perpetuating a mass psychosis of bodily consciousness generation after generation, thus keeping everybody illusioned and miserable. This is why those who are learned and realized in transcendental knowledge fully dedicate their lives for awakening the dormant Krishna consciousness in the hearts of all living beings to save them from their unnecessary illusion and suffering.

Is it true that if one becomes an urdhva-retah yogi (one who does not ever pass semen) or a naistika brahmacari (life long celibate) one will have control over death? Some scriptures say the god of death, Yamaraja, cannot harm the one who has achieved mastery over his sex drive.

Answer: Brahmacaris Die, But Devotees Live Forever.

While it is true that a person who never indulges in sex will live a longer and healthier life, he will still have to eventually die. Therefore the only way to permanently conquer death is to fully surrender to Krishna and thus regain one's original, eternal spiritual body.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
