Be Krishna Conscious. Make the World Krishna Conscious
For a devotee of Krishna life is very simple. It is not at all complicated. His life is simply to be Krishna conscious and make the entire world Krishna conscious. In this way he does the highest welfare work both for himself and for the whole world. Since happiness is experienced in proportion to the degree of how much we render selfless service to others, there is no one more happy than the devotee anywhere in the entire universe. Indeed, his happiness is fathomless and unbounded.

"Therefore any person who seriously desires real happiness must seek a bona fide spiritual master and take shelter of him by initiation. The qualification of the bona fide guru is that he has realized the conclusions of the scriptures by deliberation and is able to convince others of these conclusions. Such great personalities, who have taken shelter of the Supreme Godhead, leaving aside all material considerations, should be understood to be bona fide spiritual masters."
The bona fide spiritual master accepts Krishna as the original guru. Therefore he never changes the words of Krishna. Whatever Krishna says he repeats without any addition or subtraction. He never presents himself as God. He presents himself as the servant of God. He is authorized by the previous acharyas to accept as a spiritual master. He cannot be self made. He can only become a spiritual master when he is ordered to do so by his spiritual master.

Answer: He is Not a Rascal Like the So-Called Gurus
The bona fide spiritual master is not a rascal like the profuse so-called gurus who are at the present moment so much misguiding the entire human civilization. He is described in the Srimad Bhagavatam 11.3.21 as follows:tasmād guruṁ prapadyeta
jijñāsuḥ śreya uttamam
