True Eloquence

Truth is by its very nature eloquent. It is all beautiful and all wonderful in its simplicity. It does not require to be laboriously analyzed in volumes and volumes of dense and ponderous philosophical tomes. It, like a dazzling sunrise on a flower-fresh spring morning, is a wonder to behold. It is close to us as our very selves. We do not have to spend millions and billions of dollars on outer space exploration to fully connect with and realize the source of all existence. We simply have to open our hearts to that Supreme Person from Whom everything is emanating at every minute, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna.

In this connection it is very aptly stated in the Sri Caitanya Caritamrita:

"mitaṁ ca sāraṁ ca vaco hi vāgmitā" iti

"Essential truth spoken concisely is true eloquence."

Answers According to the Vedic Version:

Question: 16 Rounds Immediately or Gradually?

I will try to follow your advice and develop myself spiritually. Should I start directly with 16 rounds or gradually increase it? And I will also try to be in touch with you thru your daily thoughts.

Answer: Immediately If Possible

The best thing is to immediately begin chanting at least 16 rounds every day. After all, life is short. We can die at any time. So the ideal thing is to take fully to Krishna consciousness as quickly as possible to give ourselves the best shot at going back to home, back to Godhead in this very lifetime.

Of course if chanting at least 16 rounds every day is not possible in the beginning, rather than not chant at all one may adopt a lesser number and then gradually increase. But kindly note in this connection that even though Krishna consciousness is a gradual process we should not make it any more gradual than it has to be.
