You Are Eternal. Your Life Will Never End.
Even though our 2022 year ends today the good news is that our lives will never end. But to be able to feel this and celebrate we have to realize that we are not these bodies. If we foolishly misidentify ourselves with our bodies, then we will unfortunately suffer like anything the debiliating pangs of death. This is why we should always remember this wonderful verse from the Bhagavad-gita (Chapter 2, Text 20):
na jäyate mriyate vä kadäcin
näyaà bhütvä bhavitä vä na bhüyaù
ajo nityaù çäçvato 'yaà puräëo
na hanyate hanyamäne çarére
"For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain."
Keep this verse always in mind, and your life will be unlimitedly sublime!!
P.S. Out of our campaign for the new ISKCON Temple for Austin, Texas USA so far $3,108,132.99 has been raised. Our goal is $4,100,000. If you'd like to get Srila Prabhupada's special blessings click here to contribute.
All glories to you and to Srila Prabhupada!
If a person suffering from mental illness were to die from suicide, what would happen in the next life for that person, and would Krishna show mercy by considering that person’s circumstances?
Thank you.

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Those suffering from mental illness are not innocent. They are reaping their reaction for being grossly sinful in their previous life. Since suicide is also sinful, if they commit suicide they will get their karmic reaction. Suicide means that one is killing his gross body. Thus in his next life he will not have a gross body. He will become a ghost.
However, if we bless such people by giving them prasadam, letting them hear a kirtan, or inducing them to purchase some transcendental literature, their destiny will changed. They will receive the means for getting out of this hellish material existence by going back to Home, back to Godhead.
This is why we must vigorously preach to as many peoples as possible in our endeavor to make the whole world Krishna conscious.
I hope this meets you in the best of health.
