The modern day political leaders are rogues and rascals. And there is not much more to be said in this connection. They are in favor of killing cows and most of them are in favor of murdering innocent babies through abortion. Under their bogus so-called leadership the world atmosphere is becoming more and more degraded and chaotic. Srila Prabhupada explains as follows in a lecture given on Bhagavad-gītā 13.8-12 in Mumbai, Bombay on September 30, 1973: "So this is the paramparā system. And everything is described in the Brahma-sūtra by Vyāsadeva. Vyāsadeva happens to be the disciple of Nārada. Nārada happens to be disciple of Brahma. And from Vyāsadeva, Madhvācārya; then from Madhvācārya disciplic succession, Mādhavendra Purī. Mādhavendra Purī was the spiritual master of Īśvara Purī. Īśvara Purī was the spiritual master of Caitanya Mahāprabhu. On 20 January 1972 from Jaipur, India Srila Prabhupada wrote to one of his disciples how to be delivered to the realm of unlimited bliss. Today (24 July 2022) I gave a lecture and chanted kirtan on the front porch of our ashram in Austin, Texas USA at 10700 Jonwood Way.
