Hare Krishna, dear Shrila Gurudev,
please accept our humble obeisances,
all glories to Shrila Prabhupada!

We have not written to you for a long time, apparently because there was no significant reason. These are not the easiest times, but we are not complaining. We have the holy name, your instructions and an example of how to live and serve Krishna. We can't boast of much service, but we are still in ISKCON and doing what we can - participating in the distribution of Prasad, sharing spiritual knowledge and continuing to publish your books. Now there are already three of them in Russian. This is the result of your blessings, the grace of Krishna and the participation of many of your disciples and well-wishers. We are also waiting for your new book on how you came to Krishna Consciousness. We hope someday to translate it into Russian and publish it.

Please bless us so that under any external circumstances we remain first of all worthy people, Krishna conscious, and so that you will not be ashamed of us, your disciples from Russia.

Thank you for everything! You and Gurumataji are always in our hearts. Please accept our obeisances again and again.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
