The US Government is Finished

Yesterday when I went to get the mail from our neighborhood mailbox this is what I found. When I went to the post office to get our mail there was a queue of 50 people from various neighborhoods experiencing the same problem. The wait was so long I finally gave up with no mail and came back to offer the noon arati to Sri Sri Radha Damodar.

It is the duty of the government to protect the citizens from the actions of criminals. It turns our that this problem has been happening everywhere and the US government has not been able to do anything about it. That the US government is not able to do this means that it is finished. It no longer has the power to protect the citizens. Therefore it's time for our present leaders to step aside and allow Krishna conscious government to be established for the betterment of the world's atmosphere.

Question: How to Atone for Sins?

How can we atone for our sins? I don't have any repentance, nor am I shameful of my sins, I'm feeling like a dead stone I can't even cry for Kṛṣṇa. I'm trying it so hard!! PLEASE HELP ME.

Answer: Fully Surrender to Krishna

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

The only way to atone for our sins is to fully surrender to Krishna. In this regard He is teaching us as follows in the Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 18, Verse 66:

sarva-dharmān parityajya
mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja
ahaṁ tvāṁ sarva-pāpebhyo
mokṣayiṣyāmi mā śucaḥ

"Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear."

He also instructs us in Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 4, Text 34:

tad viddhi praṇipātena
paripraśnena sevayā
upadekṣyanti te jñānaṁ
jñāninas tattva-darśinaḥ

"Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized souls can impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the truth."
So are you ready to follow His instructions? He wants you to fully surrender to Him under the loving guidance of His representative, the bona fide spiritual master.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
