I Am Not Perfect

I Am Not Perfect
On 2 January 2021 while giving a lecture in Austin, Texas I was asked if I am perfect. I immediately replied that I am not perfect. Srila Prabhupada also said that he has not perfect in a lecture he gave in Mumbai, India 9 December 1974. Here is how he stated this:

"I am not perfect; that's a fact. But because I am speaking of the words coming from the perfect, therefore it is perfect. It is not speculation. It is very easy for us -- because we accept the words of the perfect. Therefore, whatever we say, it is perfect. You may challenge, 'Are you perfect?' I am not perfect. Because I am not speaking my words, I am speaking the words of the perfect, therefore, whatever I speak, it is perfect."

So I am following in the footsteps of Srila Prabhupada. I do not claim to be perfect. But I can authoritatively say that whatever I am speaking is perfect because I am repeating what I have heard from my spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada.

Question: Why Demigods Are Not in Spiritual World?

Please accept my humble obeisances.
I have a question for you.
Since the demigods are devotees of the Supreme Lord Krishna, why are they not in the spiritual world? It is said that one is not able to serve the Supreme Lord in the heavenly planets has to finally come down to the Earthly planets for devotional service to go back to Godhead. But the demigods are serving the Supreme Lord are they not?

Could you please shed some light on this?

Answer: They Are Not Pure Devotees

They are not pure devotees. Because of being very pious they have been rewarded with great material enjoyment.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. Who is this Krishna?
