From Poison to Nectar
Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead very wonderfully explains to us in Bhagavad-gita 18.37:

yat tad agre viṣam iva
pariṇāme 'mṛtopamam
tat sukhaṁ sāttvikaṁ proktam
ātma-buddhi-prasāda-jam

"That which in the beginning may be just like poison, but at the end is like nectar, and which awakens one to self-realization, is said to be happiness in the mode of goodness."

Thus we should not shy away from following the orders of guru and Krishna that we may find to be unpleasant. Even though such following may be unpleasant in the beginning, if we stick to it faithfully, it will gradually transform into the sweetest nectar.

In the Bhagavad-Gita Chapter 10, verse 20 Lord Krishna says that 'He' is the soul of the living beings. But our souls are 'us'. And we cannot be Lord Krishna. Please enlighten me on this matter.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
