Question: How to Get Favorable Results?

I am colleague of Shashi Bhushan and he told me write you to ask questions.

My first question is: “I am working very hard anxious for the result of my action. What should I do to get the favorable result?”.

My second question is: “When I try to study my technical subject after 10-15 mins I lose my focus. What should I do to improve it?”.

Answer: Do Everything for Krishna

The key for being satisfied and successful in all of our activities is to do them as offering of love for Krishna. This is described by Lord Sri Krishna Himself in the Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 9, Text 27:

yat karoṣi yad aśnāsi
yaj juhoṣi dadāsi yat
yat tapasyasi kaunteya
tat kuruṣva mad-arpaṇam

"Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform—do that, O son of Kuntī, as an offering to Me."

As long as you act for your own pleasure and satisfaction instead of the pleasure and satisfaction of God, you are like a hand trying the get the benefit of the food without feeding it to the stomach, and you will not be successful.

Offer your every day with love to Lord Krishna by chanting the Hare Krishna mantra on japa mala beads as the first thing you do every day. In this way by connecting with Krishna you will master the art of mental discipline.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
