Have a Wonderful Eternity

In some parts of the world, "Have a good day" has become a common way of ending a conversation or interaction with someone else. Wishing that someone may have a good day is certainly laudable. But why only one day? Why not wish them a great eternity? In other words, what good is happiness for one day if tomorrow I must become miserable again? Wishing them a happy eternity is better because it acknowledges and reinforces the eternal existence of the soul. And if you teach them how to chant Hare Krishna, they will indeed have a fantastic, sublimely wonderful eternity.

Please provide your understanding of "live in the present and live it best". Is this possible for a beginner like me? How can that be practically implemented (practiced)?

This is a quote from Canakya Pandita, the famous moralist often quoted by Srila Prabhupada.

To live in the present means to fully absorb yourself in Krishna consciousness. Otherwise you are dead. If you will sincerely follow the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita, you will properly situated. The following article gives good advice on how to do this:
