Bringing Eternal Life to Šakiai
Forty miles (65 km) west of Kaunas, Lithuania is Šakiai. This small town of 6 to 7 thousand people was completely destroyed by the Germans in World War II, but it is now giving birth to the sublime life-giving process of Krishna consciousness. On 19 October 2011 we travelled there from Kaunas for an evening lecture program held in the health food store of a local devotee couple. In such a small town I did not expect much of a turn out. But I was pleasantly to see the store was completely filled up with people who were very happy to hear about the sublime process of awakening their dormant Krishna consciousness. Especially sweet was one small boy named Dainius (pictured below), who asked many questions. I also asked him a question. "Would you like to become a great saint?" His unhesitating answer was, "Yes."
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
One of the devotee's 26 qualities is being expert. Is it that Krishna gives devotees the intelligence to handle material tasks, work or business? I have personal experience that Krishna protected me several times from being cheated and gave me the best guidance for doing a material task well. What ordinary people call 'luck' or 'good fortune', when understood properly, are not actually coincidental, but arranged by the Lord. Is it correct? A few coincidences may lead one to success or failure. But is it not an accident, something already arranged instead due to one's karma or Krishna's will?
Please kindly show me some light on this matter, thank you.
Your humble servant,
Jeffrey
It is a fact that everything is ultimately going on under the supreme direction of Lord Sri Krishna. Nothing is happening by chance or by luck. Everything is happening under Krishna's direction, either indirectly through the laws of karma or directly by the loving hand of Lord Sri Krishna.

Answer: Expertise is Krishna's Loving Reciprocation
The pure devotee engages everything material and spiritual in the service of the Lord. Krishna is very, very pleased by his sincere devotion and thus gives him unlimited expertise how to do everything first class. Whether one is a kirtan leader in the temple, a businessman trying to make a lot of money to support the Krishna consciousness movement, a mother trying to raise a Krishna conscious child, or whatever one may be, if he or she will sincerely serve Krishna to the best of their ability over the course of time, they will naturally become super expert in their service. It is a fact that everything is ultimately going on under the supreme direction of Lord Sri Krishna. Nothing is happening by chance or by luck. Everything is happening under Krishna's direction, either indirectly through the laws of karma or directly by the loving hand of Lord Sri Krishna.
