A Very Special Day to Remember
Saturday 22 October 2011 was one of those special days that will dance in my memory for a long time. Devotees came to Kaunas, Lithuania from many different countries to offer me their respects on my birthday. It was a wonderful opportunity to lead a hall full of devotees in super ecstatic kirtan. Srila Prabhupada said kirtan rasa is our only safe position in this world. So the more we can dive into kirtan, the more we will feel the bliss. We went deep, deep, deep, and it was oh so sweet, sweet, sweet.
Then in the evening I initiated six disciples:
Samika Rishi Das from Vilnius, Lithuania
Anantakirti Das from Tallinn, Estonia
Raghavendra Das from Kaunas, Lithuania
Astasakhi Devi Dasi from Kaunas, Lithuania
Tilakini Devi Dasi from Sovesk, Russia
Tapasvini Devi Dasi from Helsinki, Finland
The disciple who accepts their initiation vows with seriousness becomes deathless from the very day of his or her initiation. Therefore anyone who is serious about attaining the supreme destination should get initiated as soon as possible.

Please be kind to me and tell me what is guru-tattva and how can one please the spiritual master.

Question: What is Guru-Tattva?Please be kind to me and tell me what is guru-tattva and how can one please the spiritual master.

Answer: Transcendental Truth Regarding Sri Guru
Guru-tattva is the transcendental truth regarding the spiritual master, which is that since the spiritual master is purely representing the supreme authority, Lord Sri Krishna, he is also the supreme authority. To please him we must simply dutifully follow all of the instructions that he gives us. By doing so we will awaken the pure love of God that is presently sleeping within our hearts.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
