The entire human civilization is lost due to being abysmally engrossed in material sense gratification. Those rare souls who have so fortunately been awakened from the deadening spell of maya or illusion, by the mercy of Sri Guru, have entered into the transcendental realm of Krishna consciousness. They naturally, out a sense of acute compassion, dedicate their lives to rescuing the bewildered human civilization from the ever-increasingly chaotic quagmire of material bodily consciousness.

Question: Will the Scientists Make Humans Immortal?

I am a follower of Lord Sri Krishna. Recently I have read an article that within 20 years the material scientists will make humans immortal. Can it be true? Please clarify my doubt. This disturbs my mind when I am praying to Krishna.

Answer: Only the Bhakti Scientists Can Do That.

The claim of the material scientists that within 20 years they will make us immortal is preposterous and absurd. Trust no future however pleasant. The inexorable wheel of time will roll on just as it has done since time immemorial crushing everything in its path. If these fellows want immortality they can get it right now by chanting Hare Krishna. But when we tell them, "Chant, chant, chant", they say, "Can't, can't, can't." So what can be done? Those who are gullible will believe them, but we do not wish to members of their fools' paradise. Instead of waiting forever for getting immorality and never getting it, we will get immediately by following the bhakti scientists, such as Srila Rupa Gowami and His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
