Certainty in a World of Uncertainty

There's at least one thing for sure. This material world is a place of uncertainty. You never know what is going to happen next. Things can be going along really great when all of sudden out of the blue disaster strikes. This is why if we want lasting peace and happiness we must always take shelter of Krishna. It is only when we take full shelter of that inconceivably amazing beautiful person who is the source of all existence that we can find certainty in a world full of uncertainty. Krishna is the supreme all-merciful controller. He is supreme in every conceivable and inconceivable way. We can always count on Him in all times, places, and circumstances. So besides uncertainty, there's another thing for sure. Krishna's mercy is certain.

Answer: Through these Nine Items

The process of bhakti yoga is described by Bhakta Prahlada in the Srimad Bhagavatam as follows:

"Hearing and chanting about the transcendental holy name, form, qualities, paraphernalia and pastimes of Lord Vishnu, remembering them, serving the lotus feet of the Lord, offering the Lord respectful worship with sixteen types of paraphernalia, offering prayers to the Lord, becoming His servant, considering the Lord one's best friend, and surrendering everything unto Him (in other words, serving Him with the body, mind and words)--these nine processes are accepted as pure bhakti yoga or devotional service. One who has dedicated his life to the service of Krishna through these nine methods should be understood to be the most learned person, for he has acquired complete knowledge."

The above mentioned bhakti yoga system is learned under the expert guidance of the bona fide spiritual master. Through this system one attains the highest perfection of self-realization, pure love of God.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
