It's Time to Upgrade Your TV Set

Why waste time sitting at the feet of the "one-eyed guru" TV set, when you can instead upgrade to the mystic television within your heart and see a 24 hours daily live broadcast of the pastimes of the Supreme Lord that are happening right now in the spiritual world? This is a simple matter of common sense. Who would want to waste their time with programming which shackles its viewers to the cycle of birth and death, when instead one can watch programming which bestows eternal unlimited knowledge and bliss? Besides that on the mystic TV there are no commercials. What channel is it on? It's on the channel of pure bhakti. Srila Prabhupada describes this mystic television as follows in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, 1st Canto, Chapter 6, Text 33 as follows:

"The Absolute Personality of Godhead is not different from His transcendental name, form, pastimes and the sound vibrations thereof. As soon as a pure devotee engages himself in the pure devotional service of hearing, chanting and remembering the name, fame and activities of the Lord, at once He becomes visible to the transcendental eyes of the pure devotee by reflecting Himself on the mirror of the heart by spiritual television."

So, what are you waiting for? Get rid of your nonsense TV. It's time for an upgrade to the most awesome TV in all of existence!

Question: Can You See Who I Really Am?

I was reading in Vedic literature: "Bhakti-The Art of Eternal Love" on page 29 about avidya-ignorance, "The root cause of suffering is avidya, ignorance of our real identity as eternal servants of Lord Krishna." So, the question from me is, "What is my identity?" I am asking because I am afraid of the sufferings caused by this ignorance and the sinning I am doing.

Yes, I can see who you really are, and it is absolutely ecstatic! Your actual identity is that you are not your body or your mind. You are instead the indwelling spirit-soul who is qualitatively one with the Supreme Person, the Source of all existence. Thus your actual nature is that you are the eternal, full-of-bliss and full-of-knowledge, servitor of the unlimitedly sweet Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna. Now that you know you are, you simply have to be who you are, and you will transcend the miserable modes of material nature and enter into that incredibly wondrous spiritual sky to revive your original relationship with the all-powerful, all-beautiful, all-renounced, all-knowing, all-famous source and owner of everything, Lord Sri Krishna.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
