We Were Shocked to Be Given Beef in Our Groceries

Here's the complaint I made to our grocery store here in Austin on 4 June 2022:

I was absolutely shocked this morning when I opened the bags for what you gave us this morning. We were most disgusted that you accidentally included a beef product in our order when we picked it up at curbside. We are vehemently opposed to cow killing. The cow is an innocent, harmless animal which freely gives her milk. That she is murdered and butchered is the most sinful, horrible thing. The slaughterhouses must be closed and everyone must educated to protect the cows instead of eating them. We will discard this horrible thing that you have mistakenly given to us. Kindly never make this mistake again. And kindly stop supporting the ghastly slaughterhouses by selling their products. If you want to sell meat, sell the meat of animals that have died naturally instead of the ones that are cruelly murdered.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
