Control Your Tongue

Of all the senses the tongue is the most voracious and uncontrollable. It is very difficult to conquer over the tongue in this world. So, if you want to be solidly fixed on the transcendental platform of Krishna consciousness in order to become delivered from vicious cycle of birth and death, you must bring your tongue under control by only taking Krishna prasadam as your food and by only engaging your tongue in speaking the glories of Krishna. If the tongue is not properly engaged in this way, you will become polluted and dragged down into the animal kingdom in your next birth. This may sound very difficult to accomplish. But actually it is quite easy because there is nothing more stimulating and enlivening than talking about Krishna and tasting the remnants of those foods that have been offered to Him with love and devotion.

Answer: Keep Them Alive Within Your Heart

Please continue feeling separation from Vrindavan as much as and for as long as possible because this is very conducive for your Krishna consciousness. The more you feel the pangs of separation from Vrindavan, which is non-different from Krishna Himself, the more you are solidly connected with Krishna. This is the perfection of your existence.

If this feeling gradually fades away, you should then try to feel separation from the feeling of being separated from Vrindavan and in this way always keep the feelings of separation alive within your heart on one level or another. Such feelings will be your ticket back to home, back to Godhead.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
