Real Leadership Needed
Where are the qualified leaders in today's society? It is very easy to find leaders who occupy a post to serve their own purpose. But it is very difficult to a find even one leader who is dedicated to working for the deliverance of his constituents from the cycle of birth and death.
This is the actual duty of a leader. He must be qualified to deliver his followers from the cycle of birth and death. Otherwise his leadership is srama eva hi kevalam, a useless waste of time. We need leaders who can liberate us from birth and death. This is real leadership. Until such leaders emerge on the face of this planet, we shall continue experiencing an ever-more disintegrated and chaotic global society.

But in this connection it is very important to understand that whether someone is homosexually inclined or heterosexually inclined, either type of sexual inclination is based on a false identification with the material body. It is this false sense of bodily identification which has been keeping us entangled in the cycle of birth and death for millions and billions of lifetimes suffering countless repetitions of birth, death, old age, and disease.
Therefore the Vedic culture teaches us that whatever our sexual inclination is we have to give it up. We must come the higher platform of realizing our identity beyond this material body as a pure spirit-soul eternal servant of God. The self-realization process gradually brings one to becoming asexual, free of sexual inclination.
Our original state of consciousness is pure love for God. But when we come in contact with the material mode of passion that pure love becomes transformed into lust. Whether we are homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual, or zoosexual we are keeping ourselves entangled in countless sufferings due to our a false sense of identifying with a rotting bag of stool, urine, pus, vomit, blood, guts, and bones.
My best advice to you is that you should now try now to awaken your original divine enlightened consciousness, your Krishna consciousness, by regularly chanting the holy names of God as much as possible:
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare
If you do so, you will experience such unlimited bliss that you will realize that all sorts of sexual orientations are nothing but different sorts of nightmares only. You will gradually reach a state where you can personally associate with God face to face, eye to eye.

Actually whatever sexual orientation a person now has is in fact chosen by him according to his past karma.
