The Devotee Feels Himself to Be Most Fallen

ISKCON Founder:Acharya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada teaches the art of pure devotional service not only by his words but also by his example. In his Vyas Puja homage to his spiritual master, His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur, which he read before the members of the Sri Gaudlya Math in Bombay in February, 1936, in the seventh verse he took a very humble position presenting himself to his spiritual master as a fallen soul begging to be saved:

Had you not come
Who had told,
The message of Krishna
Forceful and bold,
That's your right
You have the mace.
Save me a fallen
Your Divine Grace.

From Srila Prabhupada's perfect example we can learn that this should also be our mood, to always feel ourselves fallen and to always be begging our spiritual master to save us.

Question: How a Hog Can Be Beautiful?

I hope you and Mataji are good, please take care of your health.

I have a question. A hog is considered ugly and bad. But when Krishna incarnates as hog as Varahadeva how is He beautiful and attractive?

Please help me to understand this and please shower your blessings on all of us.

Since Krishna is the source of all beauty, all beauty always exists in Him. This is why He is beautiful even when he appears in forms that are ordinarily not beautiful, such as the form of a hog. In fact when Krishna appears a hog He is the most beautiful. He appeared as a hog to rescue the earth planet when it fell into the Garbhodaka Ocean.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
