Go with Existential Flow, Not Counter Flow

Nothing is happening by chance. Everything--the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly--is going on in this world for serving life's ultimate purpose of reconnecting the lost souls with their original loving relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Those who are factually intelligent go with this existential flow while the fools get diverted by the eddy, the counter flow manifested as the demands of their whimsical senses. It makes no sense to get diverted by the counter flow because it goes nowhere. When we surrender ourselves fully to the flow of bhakti we will experience the highest pleasure at every minute in fully awakened transcendental consciousness, Krishna consciousness, and we will easily attain the supreme destination, Goloka Vrindavan.

Question: How Can a Neophyte Serve the Guru?

Please let me know that how can one surrender properly in Krishna consciousness. It is said that one needs to serve a bona fide spiritual master to be properly situated in devotion. But in ISKCON one can only be initiated by a spiritual master when he chants sixteen rounds of the Hare Krishna mantra on japa beads daily and strictly follows the four regulative principles. I am personally not able to follow the regulative principles, and I chant only one round daily, and that too with offenses. So does this mean that only an initiated disciple has the chance to serve the spiritual master and till that time one has to struggle because he won't be given a chance to serve and engage himself in spiritual activities except chanting the holy name?

Answer: Assist His World Deliverance Mission

You do not have to be initiated to serve the spiritual master. Simply ask him how you can render the best service to assist him in his mission of spreading the Krishna consciousness movement all over the world. And then work for his mission to the best of your ability. By this service you will become purified so that gradually you can improve your devotional practice and qualify for initiation.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee.
