Don't be a crazy fool who allows himself to be carried away by the misguided material civilization. It is sometimes said that fools rush in where angels fear to tread. So one should be careful what he dedicates his life to. If we simply dedicate our lives to taking care of our bodily needs, at the time of death when we are forcibly separated from our material body by the cruel laws of the material nature, we will be nowhere. Therefore the intelligent, philosophically inclined person fully dedicates his life for the reawakening of the actual self, the eternal spiritual being who resides within the body.

Answer: He Who Teaches Surrender to Krishna

When you find that person who is presenting to you the Bhagavad-gita as it is without any interpretation, addition, or subtraction, you have found your spiritual master. Nowadays the world is being misled by so many bogus gurus who are nothing more than charlatans because they take the words of Krishna and change them to suit their own philosophy.

For example in the Bhagavad-gita Krishna says, "Surrender unto Me." But one bogus guru said that it is not to Krishna that we should surrender but to the unborn and unmanifested. Such gurus who twist the words of Lord Krishna are to be carefully avoided because their so-called teachings keep us entangled in the cycle of birth and death

So when you find that guru who purely represents Lord Sri Krishna by telling you to surrender to Krishna, you should fully surrender unto such a guru accepting him as your eternal spiritual master.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
